Studying online

Our immersive online courses are one of the major reasons our students, particularly career changers, choose to study or return to study with FIAFitnation.

Our online learning platform uses the latest technology to create a rich and engaging learning experience. There you will find extensive resources, dedicated online trainers and opportunities to interact with your virtual classmates. Each of your subjects will be delivered in easy-to-handle segments, which are organised and prioritised for you.

Regular quizzes, content checks and ongoing lecturer feedback are all designed to help you successfully complete your course with confidence.

Self Paced Learning

Students can study online at their own pace within the duration of the course. Courses still have a maximum time frame to work within but students are free to manage their time each week. We do make recommendations and provide a study plan.

Studying on campus

Some people just love learning and thrive in a classroom environment. If this is your preferred method of learning, then FIAFitnation provides options for designing your own on-campus study program. Talk with a career consultant about the availability of day, night and weekend class times for your course.

Our campuses and training locations are all purpose-built learning facilities, based in central city locations. Bright, comfortable classrooms, libraries, practical gym areas, student break-out areas and study spaces give you a variety of environments in which to learn.

On campus (weekdays)

Complete your first 5 weeks with our experienced trainers via Zoom in the comfort of your own home followed by an online component for the theory assessments. All theory is delivered online, while the practical teaching and assessments are available on campus. SIS30315 Certificate III in Fitness is usually on campus study in weeks 1-5 of (Monday to Wednesday) and 8 weeks study online. SIS40215 Certificate IV in Fitness on campus study in week 1-5 of (Wednesday to Friday) and 21 weeks study online.

Blended (weekend)

Get the best of both worlds with our blended option. Come on campus for several Saturdays throughout your course and complete online theory assessments in between. SIS30315 Certificate III in Fitness is usually on campus on Saturdays (9.30am – 4pm) in weeks 1, 5, 7, 9, 11. Plus a two day practical assessment in week 13. SIS40215 Certificate IV in Fitness on campus study on alternating Saturdays (9.30am – 4pm).
