It is essential that fitness instructors understand the key functions of the human body and how this relates to a variety of fitness-based activities. Understanding the key structures of the body (anatomy) and the processes that they are responsible for (physiology) will allow accurate advice to be given to clients, and results maximised.
This course includes the unit of competency ‘SISFFIT004 – Incorporate anatomy and physiology principles into fitness programming’.
