An overview of our Certificate 3 in Fitness

A Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30315) qualifies you to work as a Gym Floor Instructor or Group Exercise Instructor after graduation. Helping new members learn how to use equipment and taking small groups through basic programming - each day offers you new opportunities to test your skills.

Throughout this qualification, you'll learn the ins-and-outs of exercise instruction and programming, while studying anatomy, physiology, and healthy eating guidelines. Our graduates love that they get paid to workout, motivate and be a part of their clients' healthy new lifestyle.

1 Online students must complete a 15 hour workplace internship with a gym instructor of their choice. This internship is a pre-requisite for attendance at the practical assessment. Online students must also attend a practical assessment, with the option of attending on a Tuesday & Wednesday, or a Saturday & Sunday.

2 Course duration is dependent on the study mode selected. If you select a full time study mode you will have up to 3 months to complete, and if you select online part time study you will have 6 months to complete.
