This qualification will provide endless opportunities for you to develop and expand your career in the fitness industry. With your SIS40215 Certificate IV in Fitness qualification, you will be qualified as a Personal Trainer, allowing you to train clients one on one in a gym setting, deliver training sessions outdoors and work with younger adults and children. The SIS40215 Certificate IV in Fitness will also provide you with the knowledge and skills to ensure you cater for the needs of all individual clients. As well as providing enhanced career opportunities, Certificate IV completion can also lead to further study at the Diploma level.

Entry Requirements

Yes. You'll need to have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent and be able to provide evidence of such; OR Achieved competency in Exit Level 3 score and working at Level 4 within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessment in Reading and Numeracy; AND Show capability to be successful in the course

Also, you’ll need to hold a SIS30315 Certificate III in Fitness and a current First Aid certificate (HLTAID003 Provide First Aid). *If you have completed an earlier version of the Certificate III in Fitness rather than the SIS30315, please contact us so we can support you regarding entry requirements.

Course Duration

Marathon or sprint?

Hit the ground running and finish your Certificate IV - SIS40215 in just 26 weeks full-time or choose to pace it out.

If you choose to study full time on campus or online, you will have a maximum of 26 weeks to complete and submit all assessments. If you choose to study part time on campus or online, you will have a maximum of 52 weeks to complete and submit all assessments.
