Add exercise for children to your Personal Trainer scope of practice by completing this short course. At the end of the course, you will be awarded the unit of competency SISFFIT013 Instruct exercise to young people aged 13-17 years.
This course will examine the key factors that a personal trainer must consider during the planning and delivery of exercise to children. This will primarily be based on the physical, psychological and social differences that exists between adults and children, determining how they impact on exercise performance.
Students will learn how to integrate this knowledge into practical programming scenarios, whilst developing an exercise bank that is both fun and engaging for this population group.
