1. What do I do if I want to work overseas?
After completing your course of study with FIAFitnation, we recommend registering with Fitness Australia. At that point you may transfer your registration through ICREPS to the UK, Ireland, Europe, South Africa, and New Zealand.
Many countries in Asia do not have a registration body so it is up to individual gyms to make an assessment of your qualifications.
FIAFitnation is accredited with the National board of Fitness Examiners, so you choose to sit a test with them, and then register to work throughout America, South America and Canada.

Courses can be paid for either in full up-front or through a flexible and affordable payment plan.

4. How long do I have to complete the online Certificate or Diploma courses?
With the nature of online study completion times vary from student to student. One student may watch a presentation once and have a great understanding of the topic, whilst others may need to refer to further notes and videos to fully comprehend the topics.
The timeframe for completion of the course at Certificate III level is six months, and up to twelve months for both Certificate IV and Diploma level courses.
To complete the course in this timeframe it is recommended that you dedicate the equivalent of a full day to study each week.

5. Is FIAFitnation a recognised and accredited education provider?
Yes. FIAFitnation is an accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO) recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
Once you’ve completed an FIAFitnation course, you can register with Fitness Australia or Kinect Australia, which are both Australian registration bodies for fitness professionals.

6. How do I know FIAFitnation is the best value for money?
In Australia the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector informs the competencies that must be covered in courses at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level. Any RTO offering a VET course must meet these minimum standards.

The process involves an individual providing a portfolio of evidence based on the education and professional experience.

8. Are there any prerequisites to enrol in the Diploma of Fitness?
Students must complete a Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness combined with industry work experience.

Study Checklist
Commencing a new course of study is an important commitment. To ensure you choose the right course and provider to suit your personal circumstances, here’s 8 Study Checklist tips:
- Make sure the course is accredited. To graduate as a qualified practitioner the course must be a current national training package.
- Find out what employers and industry think of the course you intend to study. Talk to gyms, personal trainers and fellow fitness fanatics for an unbiased point of view. They may know the different providers, and they are the ones that may well employee you after the course.
- Understand how your study will be supported. Will you have access to tutors, study skills and administrative services?
- What’s the pedigree of the education provider? Is the training organisation one that just popped up, or is it a provider that has been a leader in the industry for years?
- Know that the teaching staff is well qualified and perhaps ask to speak with a lecturer before enrolling.
- Know how the assessment is structured and what will be expected of you in terms of attendance and completion of assignment or practical work.
- Does the provider offer Continuing Education Courses (CECs)? Industry associations expert that people working in the industry will continue to upgrade their knowledge and skills through short course and upgrade programs.
- Does the provider offer job placement assistance? And if so, make sure you understand all the ins and outs of the arrangement.
